Design of a 1/2 Lambda 27MHz dipole antenna for placement on the outside of the hull of a submersible vessel.
For submersible vessels with a hull made of plastic.
Two documents are available for download. One document briefly describes the construction and in detail the method used for impedance matching. The other document contains source- and Gerber files of an impedance matching PCB. The PCB design was made with Ki-Cad. The rendering shows a V-cut on the outside of the hull of a model submarine (keel) in which both dipole antenna elements are placed.
